等待的痛苦

Bible Prescription (3)

The Pain of Waiting
 

我是一個不太有耐心的人。
I am a person who doesn't have much patience.

也是個容易情緒化的人。
My moods are also easily triggered.

然而啊! 上帝總有辦法修剪你，
However, God always has ways to trim you,

不管你想不想，只要你是祂的羊，
whether you want it or not, as long as you are His sheep,

祂就管到底了。
He will take full responsibility.

經歷過太多風風雨雨，
I have been through so much in life,

風霜在臉上也留下了滄桑，
those experiences left marks of sadness on my face,

我終於體悟到，
I finally realized,

上帝的道理早已經寫在聖經裡。
God's principals are already written in the Bible.

這個世界就是按照上帝的規矩而行，
This world works in alignment with God's rules,

就算黑暗勢力有一席之地，
even if the dark forces have influence, 

上帝也看在眼裡，
God sees it all in His eyes,

等到末日好好來一筆一筆算。
it will be judged one by one in the End.
 

羅馬書8:24-26，寫明了關於等待的疲倦:

我們得救是在乎盼望。只是所見的盼望不是盼望。誰還盼望他所見的呢？ 但我們若盼望那所不見的，就必忍耐等候。 況且，我們的軟弱有聖靈幫助。我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告，只是聖靈親自用說不出來的嘆息替我們禱告。

Romans 8:24-26 tells it all about the fatigue of waiting:
24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

的確，所看到的這個世界絕對不是盼望。那些眼淚，自私，爭奪與戰爭，哪裡是好的?
Indeed, all we see in this world is not hope.  Those tears, selfishness, taking for granted and wars, which ones are good?

連愛情都是因為不想孤單才有的啊?  創世紀一眼就知道，那種語氣是人的語氣啊!
Even if we chose love, it is because we don't want to be alone?  We can see from Genesis that it is written from a humanly perspective.

上帝創造那麼多物種，祂那麼大器的人，
God has created multitude of creatures, and as grand as God,

會最在乎如果一個男人或女人單身不好嗎?  祂的第一件事情一定是要求他們好好相處吧?
will He care the most about whether a man or woman is single? The first thing on His mind should be for them to be at peace.

創世紀就是古早男人用來囚禁女人的絕妙招數，現在還樂此不疲咧! 
Genesis is used by ancient man as a trick to tie down woman, even until now it is that way!

等待盼望，說的是上帝在我們生活的動工。
Waiting for hope, means that God does His work in our lives.

無論是心裡的轉變，還是態度的改變，
Whether changes in the status of the heart or our attitude,

諸如此類才是上帝給我們的盼望。
these are the hope that God gives us.

那麼，這需要時間啊!
So, it takes time.

因為看不見，也沒有上帝時程表，
Because we cannot see it, and we don't have godly agenda,

只能乖乖等待忍耐不是嗎?
we can only wait patiently, aren't we?

等待的期間，我們可以做甚麼?
While we wait, what can we do?

很多事情啊! 問問上帝還要等多久，
many things! Ask God how long you must wait,

跟上帝溝通，說說自己心裡的想法，
communicate with God, tell Him how you feel,

或是充實自己的人生啊!
or just fulfill your life with wonders!

聖靈也會保守我們，不要在等待的時候被誘惑。
The Holy Spirit will guard us, so that we won't be tempted when waiting.

上帝總會帶我們到一個可以歇憩的地方，
God will eventually lead us to somewhere we can rest,

而且超越你最瘋狂的想像。
and exceed beyond your wildest imagination.
