我願是征戰的天使

I shall be an Angel at War

神啊!

My Lord!

這世界的美好，

都是粉飾而來的。

All beauties of the world,

are just flaws varnished.

無人能像祢，

賜予氣息，給予生命。

Nobody is like you,

giving breath, bringing life.

縱然生命看似無限，

我們從母腹出生就已註定死亡。

Though life seems to be boundless,

we were destined for death since birth.

死亡，又為何物?

死亡是因為人類的罪，

遠離祢，遠離恩典，

而無以避免的責罰啊!

What is death?

Death is the fruit of human sins.

Parting from you, parting from Grace.

That's why we are punished!

即便在死亡中，

祢仍為我們著想。

Even in death,

Thou think of us, my Lord.

透過死亡，

我們明白時間的寶貴。

Through death,

We know that time is precious.

透過死亡，

我們才知永生的可貴。

Through death,

We know that eternal life is priceless.

這一切，

都是祢預備我們進入天國的練習啊!

All this,

Simply is our practice before entering your Kingdom!

上帝，

我不求富貴，

也已厭倦生存。

Father,

I do not beg for wealth,

I am tired of survival.

末日將近，

我願成為祢征戰的天使之一，

為祢發聲，

傳遍福音!

The End is near,

I shall become one of your fighting angels,

Become a vessel of your voice,

and spread the gospel afar!
